2010 KBA Annual Convention
June 16 - 18, 2010 |
 The 2010 KBA Annual Convention will be held June 16-18, 2010, at the Lexington Convention Center in Lexington. It will feature top-notch CLE programs and noted presenters including Morris Dees, co-founder and chief trial attorney for the Southern Poverty Law Center, Mike Rubin, an attorney and authority on legal ethics and professionalism, and Frank Abagnale, who is the real-life subject of the motion picture, Catch Me If You Can, and is recognized expert on fraud prevention. Young Lawyers Conference

On the June 17, 2010, the KBA Young Lawyers Section is presenting the fourth annual Young Lawyers Conference at the KBA Annual Convention. 2010 New Lawyers Program
June 17 - 18, 2010 |
 The June 2010 New Lawyers Program will be held on June 17-18, 2010, in conjunction with the 2010 KBA Annual Convention in Lexington. This program is required for all new attorneys licensed to practice in Kentucky. During the first day of the New Lawyers Program, attendees will have the opportunity to attend programming as part of the Young Lawyers Conference and the KBA Annual Convention. Brief Insights is a web-based mentoring project, which is a collaborative effort of the Kentucky Bar Association and the KBA Young Lawyers Section. The project consists of short 10 minute presentations on substantive legal, ethical, and law-practice management topics recorded by Kentucky lawyers for Kentucky lawyers. This material is available for free 24 hours per day, 7 days per week as a service to the members of the Kentucky Bar Association. |

While not intended to supplant CLE programs, Brief Insights consists of a collection of short presentations for Kentucky lawyers. Each presentation is approximately 10 minutes in length. This information is available at your fingertips for your viewing convenience free of charge.
This is an ongoing member service project for Kentucky lawyers, and additional presentations will be posted as they become available.
